Bermuda daughter group at the show “HolsteinVision 2018” on November 29th 2018

Bull: Bermuda 823130 (Balisto x Mayfield x Man-O-Man)

Balisto son Bermuda descends from a cow family known for its polled sires. His grand dam is the famous breeding cow Hickorymea Man-O-Man Opine P EX 91. Moreover, the pedigree includes cows strong for conformation having VG and EX classifications. The Bermuda daughters are calving at the moment and 500 daughters have had their first milk control now and 70 have linear type evaluation. A group of six heifers was shown in Bismark.

Dairy type:

Having medium dairy type the Bermuda daughters were very stylish.

The medium-sized animals showed adequate body depth and strength. Their rumps were slightly sloped and of good width.

Feet and legs:

The animals moved on top-class feet and legs having not too steep rear leg angle.

Regarding udder transmission, especially the high and wide rear udders were eye-catchers. The suspensory ligament and the teats stood out.

However, Bermuda offers more than that. He transmits good calving ease which is also proved by the calving of his daughters. In addition his daughters have good components with medium milk yield. Bermuda transmits also Kappa Casein BB as well as Beta Casein A2/A2.
