23rd Sunrise Sale – a thoroughly successful event
“Lights, camera, action!” of the Sunrise Sale for the 23rd time in Karow and the first-class sale collection offered there.
The hall in Karow was well-crowded again last Friday, March 16th 2018 when interested people from Germany and abroad waited for the auction to begin.
Catalogue lot No. 1, not being part of this event, kicked off the auction and was sold for impressive 13,000 €. This was a great start and the auction continued that successfully. 40 auction animals were sold for a very good average price of 7,382 by the auctioneer Andreas Aebi from Switzerland. The young Bandares daughter Baronin owned by the AG Schwarzbuntzucht, Fischbeck, was the absolute top seller of the night. As last catalogue lot she kept the audience in suspense and was sold for 30,000 € after an exciting bidder duel to a breeder from county Salzwedel. However, Malinus daughter Venezia did not have to hide herself among the high prices and was sold for 21,000 €. Mission P daughter KNS Sina P, presented by KNS Holsteins GbR from Melle, was a little more favorable. She was sold for 8,000 €. Of course, this is a great price above the auction average as well.
We congratulate the organizers as well as the buyers and sellers on this very successful edition of the Sunrise Sale. We are looking forward to the Sunrise Sale next year!
