Julandy daughter wins Flevoland Wintershow
Julandy daughter Bea became grand champion at the Flevoland Wintershow in Dronten, Netherlands, on last Tuesday, March 6th 2018.
The cows attended the show in Dronten were very strong, especially the Red Holstein cows were very good. This could also be seen on the list of results as three of the six titles were given to Red Holstein cows.
Bea, owned by Van Veelen Holsteins from Biddinghuizen, was raised in Germany and was part of the Julandy progeny group at the RUW Show in 2015. This group excelled so much back then that our partners of GGI-Holland decided to purchase the animals and present them at the HHH Show in the Netherlands.
It turned out to be a very good decision. Even two cows from the group in Dronten convincingly presented themselves. Besides Bea, who became champion medium at first and overall champion of the Wintershow later, the reserve champion medium was from this progeny group, too. The Holstein cow Jet Samura 136, a Julandy daughter and barn mate of Bea, could capture the reserve champion title.

Among the old cow classes, the red Zabing daughter Gansey’s Angel of Menkveld-De Haan from Zeewolde became champion and, additionally, was the favorite of the audience.
We congratulate on these great achievements and wish lots of fun and success with Genetics Made in Germany in future!
