For Germany, Vivien Grosser (RinderAllianz) and Leon Bäurich (Masterrind) previously qualified for the category “junior” as well as Johanna Ahrends and Lisa Cramer (both VOSt) for the category “senior”. The young breeder competition in Cremona was arranged in four parts (clipping, showmanship, ranking and commenting of a cow class and a test of knowledge on international Holstein breeding).
Regarding clipping and showmanship, our team could score with great achievements and a podium position finally. Vivien Grosser ranked third of the junior showmanship followed by Rosie Dennison (GB) and Donnato Bianco (IT).

In the senior showmanship Johanna Ahrends and Lisa Cramer became champion and reserve champion followed by Nils de Groot from the Netherlands. There was another reserve title for clipping by Lisa Cramer for the German team. With this, she became best attendee of her age group in the overall standings followed by Davide Bertoletti (IT) and Wouter Bloemen (NL). Johanna Ahrends was behind her closely ranking fourth in the overall standings of the seniors as the second best German result.

We congratulate the young breeders on these great achievements and wish lots of fun and success in future!
