Dutch show summer – great success for GGI

Several shows took place in the Netherlands in the past few weeks. Daughters of GGI sires were really successful there.

After winning the heifer class at the HHH Show, Clarin daughter Jantien 12 was able to do this again at the breeding cattle day in Markelo as she won the champion title of the heifers.

At the Dairy Show in Hellevoetsluis, Fageno daughter Dynamic Espot Red (DS: Jerudo) owned by Mts. Hoftijzer excelled. Descending from the Molenkamp Grietje family, she had a nice combination of strength and dairy type. She won against her competitors and became heifer champion.

At the CowValley show in Scherpenzeel, the same was true for Goldday daughter Anna 412, owned by family van der Wind from Woudenberg as she became heifer champion.

At the same time in Apeldoorn: Snowflake daughter Truus presented by family Brugman from Loenen won the medium cow classes first in order to become Holstein grand champion later on. Zabing daughter Sandra 9 owned by family Nieuwenhuis from Klarenbeek won the Red Holstein medium cow class.

Among the old cow classes, Wilco van der Waaij from Vaassen had another impressive Zabing daughter, DOW Olive 43. She became second in her class behind the later Red Holstein grand champion.

Not only old cows excelled, but also really young attendees. Among the calf class, Ov Nueva 0372 from the farm Oevervelde in Beemte-Broekland became reserve champion. She is one of many fantastic daughters of our No.1 Red Holstein bull Julandy.

Mascol daughters did really well at the show in Oldebroek. Being in eighth lactation, his daughter Marie 374 of Dick Pelleboer from Ijsselmuiden won the class of old cows ahead of her half sister J&G Lena81 owned by Jan and Gerrie Hoegen. Marie 374 was later crowned Holstein grand champion.

Goldino daughter Ramona born in Germany was successful again. She is owned by Albert Prins from Nieuwleusen and became champion of the heifers last year and asserted herself now by winning the medium cow classes.

We congratulate all breeders and owners on these great animals and achievements and wish lots of success with Genetics made in Germany in future!
