The show season is in full swing. On the weekend of October 15th and 16th 2016, three shows took place in various regions of France.

Particularly, Moses-Red daughter TBS Julia and Goldday daughter Lexcal stood out.

In the competition of young cattle aged 18 months and older at the county show of Haute-Savoie in Rumilly, TBS Julia won. Among the young cattle under one year of age Chanterelles Muse FM by Rustler Red prevailed. They had the victory in the championship ranking between themselves. TBS Julia was selected champion heifer ahead of Chanterelles Muse FM. Swiss Judge François Morand praised the winner as a feminine heifer with lots of strength.

The regional show of Morbihan took place on the same day. It was hosted as a regional and open heifer show, whereby a big field of 183 participants was recorded. Among the competitors, this year’s SPACE winner could be found, underlining the quality of cows, which competed against each other. Goldday daughter Lagoldcocc was among the heifers aged 18 to 24 months and was able to achieve a third rank.

The next day, 90 animals lined up at the regional heifer show of Brittany. The heifers were judged in different age categories. Among the young heifers Mad Max daughter Lbb Berr was awarded a 1c rank in her class. In the category of older heifers, Du Bon Vent Lexcal by Goldday was able to add a further successful chapter to her show career. In April 2016 she was already selected as best type animal at the French Young Breeders’ School. After the victory in her class she only had to give best to one age-mate in the Championship decision of her category. In the line-up for grand champion only two heifers could surpass her, and Du Bon Vent Lexcal travelled home as honorable mention grand champion.

We congratulate all breeders and owners for the show successes of their animals and wish all the best in future with Genetics Made in Germany!
