Denmark: German bulls LUKAS and PULS on No. 1 of Holsteins and Red Holsteins

In the Danish breeding value estimation of June the top positions in the total breeding value S-index are occupied by German bulls with both Holstein and Red Holstein.

After his leap to No. 8 by RZG in Germany in May, the east-frisian Leadman son LUKAS now also rushed to the top in Denmark with his second crop-daughters. With the highest production proof of all sires (119; +0.40% fat; +0.03% protein) and positive proofs in all health traits he leaves the No. 2 and highest Danish bull, T Laluffe (115), as well as the other import bulls at the top like Juror (114), Lord Lily (113) and Fatal (111) far behind.

The top list of the Red Holsteins is led by DRK PULS with 112 S-index. PULS (Helix x Stratos) is in Danish possession, but he was raised in Germany by Heinrich Spahn, Ostbevern.
